SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Athletes in Santa Fe will soon have an upgraded practice field. The City of Santa Fe is hosting a “first practice” ribbon cutting ceremony later this week to celebrate the completion of the Salvador Perez Park sport field resurfacing project.
The event marks the official opening of the newly installed synthetic turf. The city said it will provide a safer and improved playing surface for Santa Fe residents, teams, and athletes. The community can come out for the first practice on the new field on March 15 at 9 a.m.
