EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WXIN) – Two Los Angeles residents have been arrested in southern Indiana after police found pounds of meth hidden inside Cheetos bags at a local post office.
Police were notified on Wednesday about two suspicious packages sent by mail to Evansville that were believed to contain narcotics.
A detective found approximately 40 pounds of meth inside the packages, hidden inside bags of Cheetos Puffs.

The packages were then delivered to a home in Evansville while detectives watched. They soon saw a white van arrive at the home.

Two people, 46-year-old Natasha Garner and 36-year-old Goldie Flenor, reportedly retrieved the packages and got back into the van. Both are from Los Angeles.
As detectives attempted to pull over the white van, the driver accelerated and tried to flee police, eventually hitting a marked Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office SUV.

After the crash, both suspects were arrested and brought to a detention center in Henderson, Kentucky.
A federal complaint has since been filed against both Garner and Flenor, charging both of them with Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.
