Mötley Crüe postpones Las Vegas residency due to vocalist Vince Neil’s health

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Mötley Crüe announced Tuesday that they are postponing their upcoming Las Vegas residency over the health of singer Vince Neil.

The residency, to be held at Dolby Live at Park MGM, was originally set to begin on March 28 and run through April 19. It has been rescheduled for September and early October.

The postponement was due to a “required medical procedure” recommended by Neil’s doctors, the band said in a social media post Tuesday.

“To all the Crüeheads who were looking forward to see us this spring, I’m truly sorry. My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserve, and I can’t wait to return to the stage. Thank you for all the well wishes that keep reaching me. Your support means more than you know,” the 64-year-old Neil said in the post.

In a joint statement, bandmates Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and John 5 wished Neil a “speedy recovery” and thanked fans for their “understanding and support.”

“We are looking forward for him to get well again and to take over Vegas together in September,” they said.

The new residency dates are:

  • Friday, Sept. 12
  • Saturday, Sept. 13
  • Wednesday, Sept. 17
  • Friday, Sept. 19
  • Saturday, Sept. 20
  • Wednesday, Sept. 24
  • Friday, Sept. 26
  • Saturday, Sept. 27
  • Wednesday, Oct. 1
  • Friday, Oct. 3

Tickets from the original residency dates will be honored for the new September dates.
