Four people hospitalized after crash involving Roswell police officer 

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – An investigation is underway after a Roswell police vehicle collided with another car, sending at least four people to the hospital.

According to Roswell police, one of their SUV units was heading north on Main St. around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Another SUV was heading south and tried to turn onto Mescalero Rd. as the officer entered the intersection. The vehicles collided, causing the other vehicle to flip on its side. The officer and three people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital. Police say all four were conscious and alert.
