ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico marked a major milestone Friday, celebrating 136 years of education, research, and Lobo pride.

Students, staff, and faculty decked out in cherry red filled the Student Union Building for the special occasion. It was a day full of activities, including a 360-degree photobooth, a friendship bracelet building station, and cake.
The first 136 students in attendance received a free lobo day t-shirt. Lobo Louie and Lobo Lucy, also attended the celebration.
