Francine Barajas was born on April 25, 1967, and departedon January 17, 2023. Francine passed
away after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Madrid. Left to
cherish her memory are the loves of her life son Zachary Madrid and niece/bestie Presley
Salinas. Also left to treasure her memory are her loving parents Frank and Susan Barajas and
sisters Natalie Barajas and Stephanie (Jorge Salinas) Barajas and best friend Verena (Manny
Ortega) Pacheco. Francine was also survived by a large family of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and
numerous friends.
Francine was born in Denver but moved to Pueblo when she was under a year old. Francine
had a personality that just pulled you in and you were guaranteed to have fun. We ask that
everyone remember the good memories of her. Francine did not want any services so we are
honoring her wishes. Her family would like to give our sincere Thank you for all the love and
support we have received from everyone.
Her Rosary will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10:00 am at Comi Chapel.
