Albuquerque Fire Rescue honors 42 recently promoted firefighters

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Some Albuquerque Fire Rescue crew members are moving up the ranks. On Tuesday, the city and AFR recognized 42 firefighters who were recently promoted and celebrated their achievement with a badge-pinning ceremony.

City officials also did a special recognition for a civilian and firefighter for their heroic efforts at the Duke City Marathon last year where a man went into sudden cardiac arrest. The man survived with no major complications and was able to walk out of the hospital a short time later.
