ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police say a bicyclist was killed near Old Town after riding in front of a bus. According to APD, a coach bus was driving on Mountian when a man on an e-bike rode through a stop sign on 11th Street around 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
Police say the bus was unable to top in time, hitting the cyclist. He was pronounced dead at the scene. APD says the bus was traveling the speed limit at the time and the driver showed no signs of impairment.
APD is continuing to investigate the crash.
