Austin Trout to defend BKFC title in Dubai

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Austin Trout is set to get back in the squared circle and defend his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) welterweight belt. The Las Cruces native will take on Carlos Trinidad-Snake in Dubai on April 11.

Trout (3-0 BKFC) is twelve years older than Trinidad-Snake (6-0) and has a much more extensive boxing background. Trinidad-Snake comes from an MMA background while Trout is a former WBA light middleweight champion.

“They’re all tough, but he definitely has a good chin to where I see he’ll take one to give two,” Trout said. “You got to be in shape. You got to be sharp, got to be on point. I have no doubt that we’ll be okay.”
