ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Vortex Theatre is gearing up for its latest production “King James” written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph.

The performance follows the friendship of a black man and a white man who share the same passions for basketball and Lebron James during his first year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The story follows their journey as they confront their identities, the complexity of their friendship and social forces while navigating the highs and lows of Lebron’s career.
