Santa Fe Transit to temporarily reduce operating hours

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe Transit is temporarily reducing its operating hours due to a driver shortage. Starting February 22, bus and paratransit services will run daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The agency said transit systems nationwide are feeling the impact of a lack of public transit personnel. While the reduced hours are only temporary, the agency said they will continue to actively recruit and train new drivers to restore full services as soon as possible.
