ESPAÑOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – Samsung is recognizing Española Valley High School for its student’s efforts to help people dealing with Parkinson’s Disease. Students, in coordination with Northern New Mexico College, created a glove that delivers small electrical shocks to patients to help alleviate their symptoms.
Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow competition gave awards to 50 winning schools in the United States. Española Valley High School was given a $12,000 Samsung technology prize pack.
