Woman accused of human trafficking in Albuquerque arrested 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman accused of operating a stash house for migrants in Albuquerque was arrested in Oklahoma City. Border Patrol agents said Yajair Lizzet Lara of working with a human trafficking organization and charging migrants half a million dollars to smuggle them from Mexico to New Mexico.

Lara is being transported to Albuquerque, where she faces federal charges for human smuggling.
