ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Animal Welfare Department in Albuquerque is looking for some more caregivers for their dogs and cats and now they’re offering free training to volunteers. Their orphan kitten and puppy caregiver classes start in March.
Volunteers will learn how to provide care to underweight and young animals as well as proper foster care protocol. To apply for the class, send an email to AWDVounteer@cabq.gov.
