Man accused of attacking Albuquerque Waffle House employees to stay in jail 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man facing several charges after getting in a fight at the Albuquerque Waffle House will remain behind bars. According to court documents, last month Yokeen Lunford got into a fight with employees at the Waffle House on Yale Blvd. after claiming he was not given change.

Video showed the fight turning violent when Lunford was accused of attacking the employees with a broom. Lunford left the restaurant and was spotted in a car by police. He was later arrested.

On Monday, Judge Cindy Leos granted the state’s motion for pretrial detention. Lunford is facing several charges including three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
