ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A federal judge is ordering defense attorney Thomas Clear III to prove he played no part in getting DWI cases dismissed. The first guilty plea in the DWI Unit scandal implicated a co-conspirator and if it comes to light that Clear III was responsible, then he would be in violation of the state’s rule on professional conduct.
