Three New Mexico pueblos receive millions in broadband grants 

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Three New Mexico Pueblos are receiving funding from the federal government to support high speed internet access.

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration has awarded $22.6 million to three tribal communities. $18.6 million will be going to San Felipe Pueblo, $2.4 million for Jemez and $1.5 million to Picuris. Officials say the funds will be used to build broadband infrastructure, expand technical support and training as well as provide workforce development opportunities.
