ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Law Offices of the Public Defender is offering Bernalillo County residents with outstanding warrants a safe place to resolve them. A team of attorneys will be offering free help at the International District Library in Albuquerque until 5 p.m. October 3.

Organizers say there is no threat of arrest at the event. Defenders and prosecutors will help clients figure out their cases and get warrants resolved. Bernalillo County will have certified peer support workers and case managers on-site to assist clients, and transportation will be available to get them to additional community resources.
