RED RIVER, N.M. (KRQE) – The Red River Fishing Pond is now open and ready for anglers. Due to a compromised water supply pipeline that was installed in the 1940s, the pond could not maintain water levels and quality which provided an unsuitable fish habitat.
Now, crews have a new line installed. The pond has been stocked with rainbow Trout.
