ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The East Mountain Celebration is returning to the Vista Grande Community Center from noon – 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 22. The event this year will spotlight First responder appreciation and fire safety and awareness.

The event will feature live music and dance performances, a car show presented by the Village of Tijeras, artisan vendors, food trucks, a beer garden and information booths. Guests will have an opportunity to participate in a real-time community art project. Outstanding citizen awards will be given out honoring contributions to the community. Bernalillo County Fire and Rescue will be at the event and holding a number of fire safety activities. For more information, click here.
