Manzano High football game doubles as fundraiser for cancer research

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Manzano High School Football was looking for a win on the field on Saturday, but the school was also using the game as an opportunity to fundraise.

The school’s cheer and football team provided lemonade to spectators, and all proceeds went to “Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation” to support cancer research.

It’s the third year the school has held the event and had a goal of raising $2,000.
