ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The third week of New Mexico high school football wrapped with Saturday’s slate of games. Here is a look at some scores and highlights.
Albuquerque High hosted Santa Fe in a class 6A district 2 opener. While the Demons kept things close in the first half, the Bulldogs took control in the second and won 50-21.
Class 4A Albuquerque Academy Hosted class 3A frontrunner St. Michael’s. After a 7-0 lead by the Chargers, the Horsemen responded with 48 unanswered points in a 48-7 win.
Manzano looked to win a third consecutive game against Hope Christian. The Monarchs offense was clicking once again, as Manzano won 40-14.
