New Mexico nonprofit holding childhood cancer awareness event 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – September is childhood cancer awareness month and the New Mexico nonprofit cureMEC is holding an event at Explora to raise awareness about childhood cancer, donate blood and raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

The event will be Saturday, September 14 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Explora. The event is free and family friendly. Guests will be able to enjoy live music, food, drinks and more. Anyone interested can donate blood at the event. To register to donate blood, click here.
