ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – University New Mexico Hospital and the union representing staff at the Sandoval Regional Medical Center are headed back to the bargaining table. Both sides say bargaining will resume discussions on a labor agreement following a judge’s order issued last week.

Negotiations stalled in February. The union wants better pay and working conditions saying they were left out of the 3% raise that other employees got.
However, the University of New Mexico Hospital said the union accepted one negotiation meeting, walked away from another, and has since rejected four other offers to bargain.
