NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – It’s no news that New Mexico boasts some grade-A dining no matter what city or town you’re in. The reservation website OpenTable recently took stock of what reviewers on the site are saying about some of the finer dining establishments in the state.
Geronimo in Santa Fe currently holds a 4.9-star rating based on 12,349 votes. According to OpenTable the restaurant merges tradition and innovation “where simplicity and understatement reign.” The site says that Geronimo is New Mexico’s only Mobil 4-star and AAA 4 Diamond-rated restaurant.
Also holding a 4.9-star rating (and also in Santa Fe) is Market Steer Steakhouse. OpenTable user Barry from New Mexico gave the restaurant top scores across the site’s metrics (Food, Service, Ambience, and Overall). “Market Steer was our favorite steakhouse when it was in the Hotel St. Francis and we’ve been waiting until they reopened in their new location,” Barry wrote in his review.
Seasons 52 in Albuquerque also received high marks from OpenTable users. The restaurant scored a 4.8-star rating, based on 2,229 reviews which highlight not only the food options but the level of service. “The staff accommodated our needs and the table was decorated for our anniversary. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful in ordering our food choices. The service was fast and efficient,” Steven from East Texas wrote in his review.
Other restaurants of note on the list were M’tucci’s Bar Roma, El Pinto, and Indigo Crow. Those were featured at the top of a list of restaurants featuring outdoor dining.
