WHITE SANDS, N.M. (KRQE) – White Sands National Park is proposing some fee changes saying it would help improve visitor and staff safety. The park is proposing a small price increase to the Moonlight and Lake Lucero hikes as well as the Starry Night Astronomy Program.
They say the proposal is based on comparable fees for similar services at nearby museums and land management agencies. If enforced, the fees would be implemented next summer.
