NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – 11 New Mexico airports will receive more federal funds to improve their infrastructure. It’s part of the fifth round of grants through the Airport Improvement Program.
The Albuquerque International Sunport will get more than 4 million for runway lighting. The Clovis Regional Airport will get $15.7 million for a terminal. This is the second time Clovis has received funds for that effort. $6 million will also go to the Santa Fe Airport to rebuild the apron, perimeter fencing, and signage.
