ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The I-25 southbound on-ramp at Montgomery is now shut down for good. The New Mexico Department of Transportation took down the signage Wednesday morning at the loop which will close permanently as part of the I-25 improvement project.
Drivers traveling west on Montgomery will now turn left onto the frontage road to get to the interstate. Crews added a second turn lane to help alleviate traffic.
