NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation is beginning repaving on part of Hyde Park Rd. leading to Ski Santa Fe. Starting September 4, the road will be down to one lane while crews work on the project.

The repaving will happen on a seven-mile stretch of road form Hyde Memorial State Park to the Ski Area. Crews will work daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. through Friday. NMDOT says a second phase of the project will begin on Monday, and the road will be closed to all traffic during this phase. The closure will be in place daily, excluding Sunday’s. The project is expected to last 30 working days.
