ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office will be increasing patrols in Albuquerque’s Old Town.
BCSO shared its plans to continuously patrol the Old Town Plaza, welcoming visitors and checking in with business owners. “Over the past year we’ve had a bunch of businesses who’ve been hurt by arson, vandalism, etc.,” said President of the Historic Old Town Association J.J. Mancini.
The Albuquerque Police Department will also be increasing its presence and plan on installing shot spotter technology in the area.
