ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque is now resuming food inspections after the city temporarily suspended them for three days. A city official said the pause was to make sure inspectors were equipped to enforce the city’s new food safety ordinance that went into effect at the beginning of the month.
Effective immediately, the city said they are now resuming routine inspections to ensure food safety standards are enforced in compliance with the new rules. The city said from August 1-23 there were 92 inspections.
