NWS: Flash Flood Warning issued for burn scars in Lincoln County 

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for an area in central New Mexico on Monday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) stated the warning impacts the Blue 2, South Fork, and McBride Burn Scars in Lincoln County.

Impacted areas include Rio Bonito, Eagle Creek, Cedar Creek, Rio Ruidoso Drainages, downstream along the Rio Hondo, Ruidoso, Ruidoso Downs, Fort Stanton, Glencoe, Alto, Lincoln State Monument, San Patricio, Bonito Lake, and Hondo. It also affects Highway 380 between mile markers 91 and 107.

The warning lasts until 6:15 p.m.
