SANTA FE COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe County officials are investigating a death. It happened on Sunday, they said.
Around 2:30 p.m., deputies with the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office were called to an area on NM 76 in Cuartales about a shooting.
A victim identified as Marcelino Herrera, 41, of Belen, was located. Officials tried to save his life, but he died.
